Approaching from the Water

Collection:

Prompt: How would you describe your Georgetown?

I experience Georgetown as a visitor from Murrells Inlet. The fabulous restaurants and shops are a given, but I’ve enjoyed approaching it from the water the most.

By car, coming over the bridges affords a lovely view of the bay – but approaching from the water, on the bay, one can envision the original inhabitants and their views, struggles, labor, and triumphs. Happy 250th B’day, Georgetown!
