- When I was younger and lived out in the middle of nowhere—I was in charge of the fireworks—Grandparents, parents, little brother—entertainment
- Now annoying when in the city—scares pets
- Civic displays are interesting but again I think of all the beings disrupted by the noise
- Interesting to learn when + how this connection started, “the rockets red glare” = weapons—the bombs bursting in air
- Empathy—sound sensitive
