Human Impact

Industrial waste can harm their river by causing toxins in their habitats, and polluting their waters. Factories can also pollute their waters. If you own a hunting license, you are allowed to hunt River otters, and if you drive a boat, you may accidently hit them. Which can harm them by injuring them, or even killing them. 

Creative Exploration

The sun glares with heat, I awake on my log, opening my webbed feet, crawling off with my paws. 

Beginning to play, with my furry friends, as it turns to day, and the branches bend. 

Into the water I swish, using my whiskers to hunt, then I sense a fish, and head over to confront. 

I head out of the water, to lay down tonight, I am a River Otter, and now I’m closing my eyes.
