Humans can impact pitcher plants by spraying their yard with too much fertilizer and polluting the earth such as littering. Too many nutrients from fertilizers, pollution, and other factors overload the system, it can disrupt life. The pitcher plant kills off insects like horse flies and mosquitoes. These insects cause disease for humans, so the Pitcher Plants help with that.

To insects it’s a feat
So most have to accept defeat
But to their despise

Some insects know better
But others become vulnerable to the living shredder
