Aggressive colonial growth grows in big patches near shallow edges of water. 

Human Impact

Humans eat the pickerel weed seeds when dried raw doesnt matter and people eat them usually picking them from the water killing them. And can cause herbivores to have less food in the environment for and food for fish. 

The pickerel weed is a purple plant that can get up to 6 inches long The stem is green. The plant eats sunlight and grows near edges of fresh bodies of water. Herbivores eat them and also food for fish and humans.  

If humans pick them up from the ground or the water it can make the environment have less food.
