The love bug habitat is warm,humid and grassy, in the southeastern U.S.   

Diet   

Nectar from weeds and flowers.  

Larvae decompose matter by eating rotting vegetation.

Behavior  

They are weak fliers and mostly drift around in the water

Humans impact love bugs by primarily creating environments that boost their population through urbanization, while simultaneously acting as major mortality factor via transportation. 

Creative Exploration

I finally am able to break free from the egg i’m free.I immediately start eating rotting vegetation wich is in my home the composter.I finally mature and leave my home in search of a mate i will die still attached to with.
