Humans impact them because when they step on them they die and they may not even realise because they are under them but as we know ghost pipe mushrooms are tall so if they saw them hopefully they don’t because it can cause sickness and headaches.

The pipe mushroom is actually not a mushroom it’s a fungus that can cause headaches if you touch it or even get to close, ghost pipe mushrooms grow in moist areas and wet soil they also get their nutrients and carbon dioxide from tree roots so, trees are big providers for them. Ghost pipe mushrooms give a waxy white look kind of giving an off white ghost pipe mushrooms can grow up to 4-8 inches tall.
