Cattails are highly adaptable, aggressive perennial wetland plants known for their ability to colonize, filter, and dominate aquatic habitats. 

Human Impact

Cattails while often viewed as common, are essential wetland plants that face significant dangers from human activity, including pollution and alteration of natural water cycles, which can threaten their biodiversity and cause some native species to decline in favor of invasive hybrids. Humans alter the nutrient levels in wetlands through agricultural and urban runoff, which along with changes to water levels can degrade the ecosystem, prompting specialized. 

Creative Exploration

My day goes like this: I come to life as the sun hits my nice fluffy brown fuzz. I feel the nice sun, but I must be careful from people; they like to pick me. I am always scared of rain and pollution, it can kill me. I absorb the sun and do something called photosynthesis so I can feed other animals. But that is my day.
