Biological Overview

Habitat 
The crab lives in areas of saltwater across  Massachusetts to Texas.  
 
Diet 
Clams, oysters, mussels, snails, small fish, worms, and plants. 
 
Role in Ecosystem 
Predator that maintains natural balance. 
 
Behavior 
Opportunistic feeders that hunt at higher tides. 

Human Impact

A couple human impacts are. We over fish there habitat  which leads to lower  population of Blue crabs. We also put are trash in the ocean which kills them, and makes a lower population . Another effect of human impacts is the polluted oceans in which kills the crabs and create an unhealthy environment. A final human impact is are constant hunt for them Because they are sometimes called a delicacy, to many around. 

Creative Exploration

In the flowing water I wait to arise. In that water a snail caught my eye, I leap in the water reaching for my prey. In the high tide water, I was successful with my ventures drove by hunger. I went on to devour, the filling snail, for i am the predator. As after the meal I went for the shore where I lay on the rocks for a slumber.
