Human Impact

These owls expanded through the western hemisphere range by habitat facilitation. Loss of native habitat from moving. This makes it so they’re not used to other habitats and different animals making their diet more diverse and expanded. Making them adapt to the different climates and environments around them.

In the night it sits, 
Waiting and stalking in the cool air, 
The breeze hits its thick soft feathers and they sway in the moonlight, 
Perched in the tree, its stoic stare stalks its prey, 
It swiftly swoops down to grab its prey with its talons.
