The American Revolution Today: Coker University

Communal Pen workshops are at the heart of what we do. Each workshop has a facilitator team and thoughtful prompts with the goal of creating community connection. Read more of our details below of this workshop.

In the wake of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, we want to explore the impact of this historical moment as a country and as individuals. What does the revolution mean to you today? What do you think our founding fathers would think of what our country has become? This workshop invites you to share your own connections to the revolution in collaboration with research on attitudes toward the Revolution by Coker University Humanities major Harper Davidson under the supervision of Dr. Gina Bennett.
