Unfortunately, I didn’t see the monks in person. I typically do not care for large gatherings and the monks, their cause for peace and their four legged friends of who I admired.  

Having said this, peace is that thing we all crave. Chaos seems to seep through the cracks in our society and seems to ignite something in our personality. While the much sought peace would be so welcomed.  

I found that the monks brought with them a new insight, a way of life, and a dedication to what we all struggle and strive for. So commanding was their belief that a dog dedicated himself to them, that was apparent.  

Although I followed their journey I think I also will live with a certain regret of not seeing them in person. However, I can hope their message will become mine and peace will flow through my very being.
