We always decorate the tree after Thanksgiving. We can’t do it before. We listen to the Grinch soundtrack because my mom is a Grinch fanatic. The whole tree is themed in Grinch.

We have our main tree in the living room and a smaller, older tree in the sunroom. My mom puts all the nice ornaments on the front tree and all the homemade ones on the back tree. So, we try to sneak the older, less elegant ornaments onto the front tree without her noticing. We take a Christmas photo on Christmas Day. We drink Dunkin’ hot chocolate. My family comes down the day after Christmas. We don’t have a lot of formal traditions. They just kind of fall into place.
