Seth Jones is a 19-year-old sophomore at Coastal Carolina who is also an RA. Day to day, Seth does a lot of the same things as a normal student. He goes to class and to the dining hall like everyone else, but after 8, he has to do his job as an RA.

Weekends are definitely more eventful than weekdays, but getting a call that someone opened the fire alarm door or is drinking alcohol is not uncommon. If something like this happens, he has to pull the person aside that broke the rules and write an IR. An IR is a report done after a student has done something wrong, and it is different depending on what the student did. He also checks in on us at least a few times a week to make sure we haven’t wrecked the room, but during the check, he’ll usually sit down and watch football with us and ask us if we got enough sleep after going out. This really represents Seth as a person. He is a good example for us to look up to as freshmen, and also is a good employee because of how he always does his job and does it well.
