You moved where?
Is that near Myrtle Beach? Your a strange one, but even for you that’s quite a reach. Away from the HOA and cookie cutter houses that all look alike, away from the traffic and no where to bike.
Away from some who wont smile unless they know ya, and others who judge by the labels that
Yes, we did, to Georgetown we fled. No longer listening to what other said.
Here we know people, neighbors like couie, and Regina, who share what they have leaving nothing behind them.
There’s Couise at Walmart Pharmacy and James at the door and pot baggel my groceries when she saw I sore.
When I walk in the morning, we greet and we chat, sometimes just over this and there’s that.
One day I found myself meeting at the carwash, as a man pulled in, before we departed, we prayed for this world and all its sins.
Yes, I don’t miss the HOA, and traffic, and look-alike living which was mine for so long.
I love a people both Hearty and strong, no matter where you came from, and what you don’t know, they welcome you to a life you didn’t know.
