It was a word/phrase, but you can break it up into things. It’s very common for my grandfather, and then it later adapted to everybody saying it. The first one was, “Got-Almighty, get a row.” And then just plain “Got-Almighty.” Got-Almighty can be used as a form of compliment. So, if you see somebody like: Got-Almighty. Or it’s just reacting to something very shocking or unbelievable, and then, “Got-Almighty, get a row” was something that was a very strong reaction to something unbelievable.
If somebody did something crazy, or you ever had that person that says something or does something, they’re like that was something that was said, Got-Almighty, get a row. And I never understood what it meant. But getting told “get a row” is kind of like, “get a role.” Meaning, “get a hold of yourself.”
That is one phrase that was in our family dictionary.
