In Batesburg-Leesville, S.C. the Poultry Festival has made an impact as locals dorn their yards with vibrant art sculptures chickens, very much like Aiken, S.C. has with sculptures of horses. 

Singularly, the highway 23 yard sell also has joined in the culture of bargaining with neighboring towns and counties. Although it lasts but two-days planning for the next year and scheduling events to incorporate into this two day event, lasts and is on-going.
