An art project I made in Fairfield Bay, AR. I was asked to make an 8×8 drawing of a bridge and building N.Y.C. This would be for a backdrop for New Year’s Eve at the local country club. I was given two 8 x 4 pieces of wallboard. I drew the NYC backdrop of the highrise buildings and painted them. Then I drew a large bridge and put holes through the wallboard for lights.

I strung Christmas tree lights, pushing the bulbs through the holes to the front, following the bridge outline. Most of the material was given by businesses or personal donations. This brought our community together and gave our country club a spark for everyone to stand in front of the bridge and take pictures.
