Okay, for me, my top three is Consider Me by Allen Stone. Casanova, by Gerald Levert. Then Gentle Hands by Priscilla Renee, that one was like my anthem, still is my anthem, but she’s asking God for a man with gentle hands.
It’s like, Dear God, I want a man. And he’ll love his mom, he’ll cook with my dad, he’ll go to church, he’ll praise your name. And when we have a son or daughter: if you have a daughter, you’ll teach her how women should be loved in this cruel, cruel world, and if we have a son, he’ll teach him how to not play with women like he plays with toys. That one is a really good song. It’s not a slow song; It’s an upbeat song.
So, that’s my singles anthem/prayer, all wrapped into one.
