I grew up in the 1960s and 70s. I grew up with A Charlie Brown Christmas. We would stop and watch it together. The piano music, the kid-focused story, the message of love and acceptance.
And Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer with Burl Ives. The music, the animation, and seeing Rudolph step into his own. What was considered a defect became a saving grace and a light for others.
