There was a grandma called GiGi, and she was very funny and weird. She would bring unusal gifts, were already used, and you had to wonder where she get them. For sure, they were the “hit” of the party, at least to the children.
GiGi loved Big Adventures, and she liked to travel. She once flew to IQuito’s Peru on a mission trip after 9/11. She has had broken hips, ribs and 2 ankles on some of her adventures. One of the boy’s sayings “Is this safe GiGi”
GiGi loved sugar. Thru 7 grandchildren they know with GiGi-sugar will be involved.
GiGi learned to take out the fish hooks this summer as she was the only one to do it. She used a pair of her underwear to hold the fish. She puts on worms, she doesn’t like the guts.
GiGi carries toys in her car, backpack, and purse just in case.
GiGi is the only one to take all the boys to KOA cabin fro 2 days with a lot of sugar and no rules. This year the very youngest went (13 years from the last one) Is was amazing, But it happened during the hottest days in June 22-25. My sweet child said, “do you need to lie down GiGi”
GiGi wants her legacy to be remembered as she was weird, funny, adventurest, risk taker and well-loved.
Jesus girl, snuggler, card maker and dreamer. She lived as her email said,
“outdoorgigi” a life-well lived.
