So, a superstition that my family and I believe is that when a family member dies in your family, you’re supposed to take the baby and pass them over the grave in order to keep the spirit of your loved one from bothering the baby. Because essentially, your spirit’s supposed to roam the earth for three days, where you finally move on.
And in addition to that, if you were carrying or pregnant with the child, you were usually warned not to go to funerals, because if so, then your baby will be born forever crying or will forever just cry at the drop of a hat.
