Bloody Mary has always stuck with me, like even now as an adult, and maybe not so much the fear of this woman, necessarily, but the idea of mirrors as portals. I always get a little nervous around mirrors at night, in case I see something that I shouldn’t see. I never even did the Bloody Mary ritual as a kid; I was too scared. So, even just the idea was so powerful to me.
