It’s 2024 and I would like you to know that I am from your same hometown– Easton, MD, Talbot county. There is a mural of your face in the center of town, and your book is taught in our school religiously and with pride. Everyone born and raised here knows about you with great knowledge and admiration. It’s 2024 but your name and legacy has lived on vibrantly in the very town you were born and raised in. There is even a statue of you in front of our courthouse. Your name lives on in a town that once harbored the most wretched behavior. It’s 2024 and you should be proud of how you have the way of autonomy and free spirits.
