Long term survival of small communities

Collection:

Prompt: What do you think is important for the long term survival of small communities?

Long term survival of small communities
will hinge on the aqueducts of geography.
Survival of towns will be dependent
on formal or informal organizing that
will coalesce small and medium sized
towns together in an economic sense
Employment will draw people into
a general area within community distance
and these people will make decisions
about being more urban or more rural.
Cities which are further separated will
be left behind as this coalescing occurs.
It will be a gradual evolution that
may see almost unacceptable
to those who are living there.

The exceptions will be small towns
with some unique feature that allows
them to prosper.

I hope that of schools centralyzing of schools
slows down.
