An outdoor wedding in late May in San Antonio, Texas. We sweat through our nice clothes, and I forgot the bug spray. But we also laughed through tears, ate brisket, mac and cheese, and pet a couple of goats. Yes, they had a petting zoo at their wedding reception.

They also had dozens upon dozens of children’s picture books. One of the brides is a children’s librarian. You could choose one or more as your take-home gift or souvenir. I didn’t have any of this at my wedding. I’m so glad how things have changed in the past two decades.
