When we first moved into our 1916 house, we (on two occasions) smelled a horrible dead body smell. We thought something had died within the walls but the smell would only last for about an hour and then disappear. We decided that it was the doctor that built our house who was maybe not happy that we were living there but since the smell never happened again, we think he is happy with us now 🙂
