Prompt: Who first taught you about Native Americans?

My parents first explained who the Catawba were when we moved to Lancaster, and I saw the name “Catawba” on a sign when I was six years old. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned there were more than a handful of tries in SC. Public school education only covered a few tribes in the curriculum.
