Human Impact

Due to deforestation, Southern Toad’s habitat has been destroyed and altered. This makes it hard for the species to continue living there. Chemicals and pollution has also been a huge problem for the toads, as they are sensitive to pollutants. To add on from that, Roads near their environment can make it so they have a likely chance of being hit by cars. 

Creative Exploration

I just woke up and I can hear crickets chirping but I can’t see them because its too dark. I try to follow the noise of the crickets and I catch one. After I eat it I go catch lots more. Once I’m done I go to a creek so I can drink some water and keep my skin hydrated. But then is see a snake that wants to try and hunt me. So I inflate my body to seem larger and the snake gets startled. I can see the sun rising so I know it’s time to go to sleep.
