Human Impact

Humans hunt the river Otter for its fur but humans also pollute the air and water which causes a huge problem killing the prey and the Otter itself. Plus before us humans got easier food and water access we had hunted the river otters for a while and this caused a decrease in their population. But the river otter reproduces so quickly to the point that they got their population back in a short amount of time. 

Creative Exploration

A day in the life of a river Otter. I wake up feeling very hungry so I go and look for fish. I come back to my pond with a newly caught Catfish. Then later in the day I find my mate and we go hunt for our favorite food Crab. I find out from my mate that we are gonna have otter babies. I was so excited that we decided to go hunt for a second crab and we couldn’t finish it so we decided to put it aside for later. Then we finish out the night by swimming down the river and then falling asleep back at our pond.
