A day in the life of my older sister, who is starting in the army (active duty) looks very different than what the average persons would look like. I am not too sure about the exact specifics, but I have a good rough outline. She wakes up at a set time (early), set breakfast time, set workout/training time, set lunch time, where everyone eats together. This is where her and all her boot camp buddies can interact and enjoy themselves. Lastly, a set dinner and bedtime, then repeat in the morning.
In a regular day of bootcamp training, she would be interacting with her partners and drill sergeants. There is a huge difference in how she can interact between the two. When she is talking to her drill sergeant, she has to answer in phrases that show she understands, being “Sir no sir” and “Sir yes Sir”. If she is interacting with her partners, she can talk to them regular when she is allowed to do so.
