Saturday Morning Shoppers: Treasure Hunting

Communal Pen workshops are at the heart of what we do. Each workshop has a facilitator team and thoughtful prompts with the goal of creating community connection. Read more of our details below of this workshop.

Saturday Mornings have long been a time for treasure hunting. Whether at the flea market, neighborhood yard sales, or favorite resale shops. For some, the thrill is in the hunt for the best deal or the rarest collectible. For others, it’s about setting up a table, meeting new people, and seeing what finds a second home.

In this virtual Communal Pen workshop, hosted by Melanie McGehee, we’ll use prompts to spark memories of your best bargains, favorite finds, and strangest sightings. Whether you’re a seasoned seller, a casual shopper, or simply someone with a story to tell, this session offers time to write, reflect, and share — plus space for a little brag session about those once-in-a-lifetime discoveries.
